Blog post about Dec 15 class of SLP Mumbai: After having gone through two of his
sessions, I can confidently claim that Sid Shah’s sessions are high-energy, highly inspiring. Sid took us through the entire sales cycle with Dilbert in the background to aid his presentation! He stressed on the importance of preparation prior to a sales call. Starting with a ‘feel good’ compliment to break the ice, observing the personality type of the opposite person, until preparing to close and finally getting the sign on the dotted line, Sid covered every aspect of the process.
Our very own Rodinhood Pandey a.k.a Alok Kejriwal busted the egos of traditional advertising mediums when he asked for a raise of hands and no one remembered the advertisement on the first page of a leading newspaper of the day.
Sumir Verma’s insights into valuations and exits was mind numbing for a first timer like me. But his simple exercise of putting down an investor’s concerns and his strategies to overcome the same, gave a good perspective of the topic. Moreover, a light Thai lunch ensured that none dozed off. An amazing ‘melt-in-the-mouth’ cake to celebrate the birthdays of 4 sagittarians sweetly rounded off the session. ~ Priya
